Delivery Lab for health sector was orgnized and implimented by Presidential Delivery Bureau for ten consecutive days from 15th to 24th March 2023 just outside Zanzibar Town. The Lab involved key stakeholers from health sector to discuss issues around five (5) presidnetioal key Priority Areas (KPAs) which are:-

1. 1.Infrastructure for health
2. 2.Humman resources for health
3. 3.Digitalization of health systems
4. 4.Commodity
5. 5.Health Financing

ZHSF particiapated fully in the LAB where it get opportunity to share experience on UHC with collagues from various organization including DPs. . 

VISION - Strengthening the government’s delivery capacity to achieve the vision for transformation and sustainable development of the isles. Improve co-ordination and accelerate implementation of the government’s strategic priorities and delivery of results for social-economic transformative impacts in Zanzibar. And the true manifestation of that would be  improving delivery of public services in Zanzibar. . 

THE OVERALL OBJECTIVE - is to coordinate services delivery and expeditiously attain results in the key areas prioritized by the government based on the Presidential promise and translated into Key Result Areas (KRAs). . 

STRATEGY - drive implementation of priority projects that would contribute to transformative, sustainable and tangible outcomes and impacts. This is necessary because the only way we can have quality health care systems is if we have proper infrastructure, skilled human resources for Health, digitalized health systems, quality, safety and efficacious health commodities, and sustainable health financing. .
